Networks are open to a broad array of arrangements for advertisers this year.

Fox and TiVo discuss experimenting with time-dependent replacement commercials. The twist here is Fox has applied for the patent, and Fox is likely license it to other networks and technology providers. A large portion of TV ads are time sensitive, meaning their value diminishes if not watched promptly. The method sends new spots during off hours that replace older spots recorded on a DVR hard drive.
